Extension
Last months we worked very hard to finalize the extension for the C2C Islands project to the secretariat in Viborg. We are very glad we could send in time for the fifth call. In this extension we claim extra funding for two new partners outside the eligible area and the next extra activities:
- - Roosevelt Island and other New York locations (partner Urban Answers) US: http://www.urbananswers.com/
- - Hailuoto Island from Finland in the Baltic Sea (partner the University of Oulu)
- - extra budget for Tjörn ( Sweden had a low budget compared to the other countries)
Development of the secondary network of partners for spreading the concept of Cradle to Cradle® to its members. A secondary network could be formed as the ‘C2CI knowledge exchange network' We will develop the next communication tools:
- - web applications of pilot projects
- - different promotion materials

On 4 June 2010 the Interreg IVB Programme Secretatiat informed us that the submitted extention has been approved. >
